Benefits of having an alignment check & adjustment for your Land Rover or Range Rover include:
Reduced Tyre Wear - Improper alignment is a major cause of premature tyre wear. Over the years, a properly aligned vehicle can add thousands of miles to tyre life.
Better Fuel Mileage - Fuel mileage increases as rolling resistance decreases. Total alignment sets all four wheel parallel which, along with proper inflation, minimizes rolling resistance.
Improved Handling - Does your car pull to one side? Does the steering wheel vibrate? Do you constantly have to move the steering wheel to keep your car traveling straight ahead? Many handling problems can be corrected by total alignment. With all the system components aligned properly, road shock is more efficiently absorbed for a smoother ride.
Safer Driving - A suspension system inspection is part of our alignment procedure. This allows us to spot worn parts before they cause costly problems.
The standard wheel alignment measurement involves adjustment of front individual toe thus straigthening the steering wheel. Diagnosis of all angles and presentation of a "before" printout. Problems are highlighted with the customer and any additional costs required to do the work are agreed. Once the work is completed, the customer will receive an "After" printout.
Note: Where the car has the steering rack incorrectly connected to the steering column or the steering wheel has been removed and incorrectly positioned previously would involve an additional charge. Where the toe adjusters are not serviceable - i.e. corroded solid then new parts may need fitting - additional charge.
